There is a legitimate write in candidate in the 10th district vs. Paul Broun

His name is Brian Russell Brown, and he is from Augusta, and he has qualified as a write in candidate before for other offices. He writes letters to the editor at the Augusta newspaper, and very little is known about him beyond that. Here is a link to the certified write in candidates in Georgia http://www.sos.ga.gov/Elections/2012CertifiedWriteIn.pdf Heard from him yesterday and he needs office supplies and wants to balance the budget.

Come help us win North Carolina

Sincerely,  Dan Matthews Date: Tue, 16 Oct 2012 13:13:41 -0400 To: danmatt@hotmail.com From: info@barackobama.com Subject: Come help us win North Carolina Dan -- We know voters here in North Carolina are going to have a huge role in deciding the presidential election in a few weeks. Romney and his allies know this, too -- and that's why they're already spending millions of dollars attacking President Obama over the airwaves in North Carolina. It's on us to step up to defend the President's record -- and make sure that voters aren't misled by the negativity and distortions that the other side is churning out. That's why North Carolina is the place to be right now. Georgia student groups are organizing road trips to help with early voting and get-out-the-vote events in the final weeks leading up to Election Day. Can you join an upcoming trip? Want to Canvass for Obama in North Carolina this weekend?

Reply-To: Patsy Harris < patsydudney@yahoo.com > Hi Everyone! We have another chance to raise a ruckus in Charlotte! I just got a call from J.J. Edwards of the Obama Campaign. He is organizing a group of Georgia Dems to travel this weekend to Charlotte. It is an over-nighter, with rooms provided. We pay for our main food and help with gas. Looks like we will be gathering in Athens at the Clarke Co. Headquarters at 7AM this Saturday, travel the 200 miles in one of our cars, and arrive at Charlotte where we will be given our instructions. We will canvass the rest of the daylight hours in certain areas, and then drive home the next morning - gone about 3

Vote early in Oconee County at 10 Court Street

Image
There were nearly 200 advance voters that came into the tiny Oconee County Board of Registration and Elections building immediately south of the Oconee County Courthouse in Watkinsville by 1:30 pm yesterday. I would well imagine that all of them were writing in "Charles Darwin" against Paul Broun for Congress like I did, but I would be wrong in that assumption. I would also like to think they were all voting for Barack Obama for President, but considering almost every one of my Morgan Manor Estates neighbors save the Gwinns, Knights and a few others have Willard "Mitt" Romney signs in their yards, I would think that would be a mistake as well. If you would like an "Obama Y'all" campaign sign for your yard, you have a very small window to which you can get one - and I would suggest you do so right now - at either 706-769-1131 or 706-372-1062 and we are asking a $5.00 donation per sign. The new outdoor basketball courts at Herman C. I like the padded goal stand and even tugged a few of the velcro straps together, and the stone benches add a nice touch. The plexiglass backboards do not wobble in the least, nor do they have that patented "THONG" sound that so many of us used to playing on school yard courts recall from launching bricks landing on the standard metal p
