The North High Shoals Mayor and Council invites you to share your morning with us at Dog Day in North High Shoals on  May 5 from 9:00-noon.  It's a day to enjoy the town and its park, the spring weather, friends and family, and your special dogs.  Several contests will be offered, and snacks will be available. Fred Johnson is a former member of the North High Shoals City Council and an Oconee County Democrat. He is a really nice guy,  has a wonderful family, is concerned member of the human race, and I am glad he is a member of our enlightened organization. He is also a Walton County teacher and a soccer father. His posts about North High Shoals are often included in this blog. However, do not show him your privet unless you want those hedges gone forever.
