HOST A HOUSE PARTY FOR MARK TAYLOR

We are looking for individuals across Georgia to host house parties to helpraise money for Mark Taylor's campaign and spread Mark’s vision of Georgia’sfuture to their friends and family. We are planning several house partiesbetween now and Election Day, four of which will include a conference callwith the Big Guy. The house parties will be held on the following dates:

Saturday October 14 12 - 2 PM
Tuesday October 17 6 - 8 PM
Saturday October 21 12 - 2 PM
Thursday October 26 7 - 9 PM

If you are unable to host a party on these days, you can host your own eventat your convenience. To sign up click on "Host a Party". Whilemany campaigns have house parties just to raise money, we also would like toincorporate volunteer activities into each house party. We are asking partyhosts to choose one of three activities to take place at each party: phonebanking, canvassing and letter writing (ask people to bring their addressbooks).

YARD SIGNS FOR STATEWIDE CANDIDATES

Please let us know if you need yard signs of all the statewide candidates and we will let the campaigns know where and how many yard signs you need.Ideally, we would like you to get the yard signs into (individual homes)private yards. Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. Any one who has listened to 960 the Ref AM sports talk radio or heard the UGA Lady Dawgs or men's baseball team has surely heard the encyclopedic knowledge of one Jeff Dantzler. Jeff and I are pretty much diametrically opposed poltically, but today he was arrested on four counts including DUI. I hope he gets the help he needs following his incarceration. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
