Election Day is coming and Rich Clark needs our votes and help

I wholeheartedly support and endorse local Democratic candidate Rich Clark for the Oconee County Board of Education Post 5 in the lone contested local race against developer Tom Breedlove. I know Rich will serve our students and their parents very well regardless of your party affiliation. He deserves your vote, but here are some other opportunities for doing a little more if you are so inclined.

Friends and supporters,

While Election Day is still 13 days off, early voting is progressing daily, approaching 20 percent of the county's registered voters.  It is abundantly clear that many Oconee voters are not aware of the fact that there is still a competitive Board of Elections race.

To increase awareness, I've been holding signs and waving to potential voters at high traffic spots.  I'm hoping to do more of this on the last 2 weekends leading to the election.  If anyone is willing to stand with me at Butler's Crossing and help create an aura of enthusiasm, I would be grateful for the company.  Or if anyone can place themselves in areas where I am not or at times that I'm not out, this too would help increase awareness of the race.

Please let me know if you can spare an hour or so on Saturday, October 25th, Saturday, November 1st, or on Election Day, November 4th.

Also, if you have the opportunity and you're comfortable doing so, please calll your friends and acquaintances to remind them that there is still a BOE race, and ask them to consider Rich Clark (www.geocities.com/clark4boe).

Gratefully and optimistically,

Rich Clark
