Here is some good news from the Barack Obama staffers coming to town to help us elect Jim Martin as our next United States Senator Tuesday, December 2 and maybe before with advance voting. Here are some concrete things you can do to make it happen.

Hello Everyone!

I'm rested from the Obama campaign and ready to go to win Clarke County for
Jim Martin! Also please welcome Vineeth Hemavathi and Marshall High fresh
from Ohio and Virginia as they will be organizers in the Athens office along
with me.

OUR LOCATION:
The Clarke County Democratic HQs. 220 Prince Ave.
We will have the office up and running by this Friday at 10:00 a.m.

Clarke County Early/Advance/Election Day Voting: PLEASE NOTE that Karen
Handel has not officially certified the results yet, so this is as much
information as I have. Also, the Early Vote Dates are subject to change
given SOS.

Early Vote: November 18-21st at Clarke BofE. NOTE-Not every county has
early vote. This is OPTIONAL for each BofE. Clarke County is fantastic so
we have Early Vote!

Advance Vote: November 24th-26th at Clarke BofE. I'm not sure about the
Classic Center yet.

No Voting: Thanksgiving and the Friday after. Nov. 27th and 28th, and Dec.
1st.

Election Day: Dec. 2nd.

OUR PLAN:
Very Simple: Canvass and Call our voters and tell them to go vote one more
time!

Canvass schedule:
Saturday Nov. 15th 9:30 and 1 p.m.
Sunday Nov. 16th 2 p.m.

Saturday Nov.22nd 9:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m.
Sunday Nov. 23rd. 2 p.m.

Sunday Nov. 30th: Time TBA
Dec 1st: Time TBA.
E-Day Dec. 2nd: Time TBA

Phone calling:
Weekdays 5-9 p.m. At HQs.

Anyone who can't do either, we welcome you to come by HQs for other things
that may come up.

Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

The booking photo is not to be placed on any web page that charges a fee for booking photo removal. Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
