Obama Tuesday Phone Bank! - 10/02

Obama Supporters,

Hello! We had a GREAT phone bank yesterday! We managed to make about 260 calls to Georgia and Florida, which again far surpasses our daily goal! Obama is doing great in the polls, as well. According to the NYTimes FiveThirtyEight election calculator, Obama now has an 85.1% change of winning on November 6!
But this election is far from over. Romney is planning to do whatever is necessary to sabotage Obama in the debates, which start this Wednesday. If he succeeds, this election could swing in the opposite direction very quickly. 
To prevent this from happening, we will be calling voters and making sure they know that Barack Obama is hard at work fixing the economy, making jobs, and putting America back on top. Please, come out our next phone bank this Tuesday:

Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

The booking photo is not to be placed on any web page that charges a fee for booking photo removal. Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
