The Pastures of Rose Creek

    I hope everyone is doing well! Here is the latest update from the farm - short and sweet!

Sundays = More

     Starting this Sunday, we will be featuring various new products at our farm stand from our farmer friends! Why are we doing this? Despite our differences of opinion on everything from how to build a fence to eradicating the dreadful squash bug, we all share the same love for what we do.

     We've had fellow farmers help us on everything to include bolting cows, broken bush hogs and even electrical problems. Whenever something goes wrong and we need a helping hand, the farmers in the Athens/Oconee area seem to completely stop what they are doing to lend a helping hand.

     We believe that this will help support other local farmers and to build a bigger sense of community. So come by the Sunday farm stand and see what awesome, delicious stuff we have to offer!

Market Mayhem

You can find us at FIVE different places throughout the week!

Gold Club Deal

     This week we are offering 20% off our grass fed Piedmontese Shoulder Roast. This roast is rich in flavor but not in fat... making it a healthy and delicious! Remember, shoulder roasts are best for slow cooking, pot roasting, braising, or stewing. Need a recipe idea? Try marinating it in lime juice, cilantro and garlic then slow cooking. This method makes spectacular meat for tacos!

     For the new subscribers - Our Gold Club is a Sunday Farm Stand discount that we offer to our Newsletter subscribers! Our farm stand is located at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville, GA and will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday. Look for the signs on Colham Ferry!
