Jaren Peden and Teddie Nor ton of Dr. Paul Broun's office emailed me to let me know that I can attend the January 20, 201 3 second and final swearing in and oath of office of President Ba rack Obama. I have been very fo rtun ate to have my travel plans and companion come toge ther and let me recommend Cerulean Travel on New York City when you are trying to arrange last second acco modations in a city where thousands of people are all finding out about the same time that they are going too. There were nearly 200 advance voters that came into the tiny Oconee County Board of Registration and Elections building immediately south of the Oconee County Courthouse in Watkinsville by 1:30 pm yesterday. I would well imagine that all of them were writing in "Charles Darwin" against Paul Broun for Congress like I did, but I would be wrong in that assumption. I would also like to think they were all voting for Barack Obama for President, but considering almost every one of my Morgan Manor Estates neighbors save the Gwinns, Knights and a few others have Willard "Mitt" Romney signs in their yards, I would think that would be a mistake as well.
