Free program this evening at Oconee Library involving reptiles and amphibians
Hello, fellow Democrats! Tonight's free and family-friendly event at the Oconee library should be interesting and fun. Students from UGA's Herpetological Society will bring reptiles and amphibians for people to learn about and handle. The young scientists will also talk about hibernation and provide suggestions about things we can do in our own backyards to help native wildlife. The community book group's book for March is "The Killer Angels," a great Pulitzer Prize-winning book about the Battle of Gettysburg. It's a quick read, too! That's Wednesday, March 30th, at 7 PM at the Taco Stand in the Publix Shopping Center in Watkinsville. Both events have been organized by the Oconee Democrats.
