Oconee County Historical Society meeting Monday

Oconee County Historical Society Meeting Monday at OCAF building Just a reminder that our next meeting at the OCAF building in Watkinsville will be Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 7pm.   Three  of us met last night to discuss possible guidelines for the History Village at Heritage Park and I will clean up our notes and have something to present for you discussion.    Other items on the agenda are our current sign project, and a possible fund raiser for this fall.  Please come help us plan for the future.   Peggy

Oconee County Historical Society meeting site change for 7 pm Monday, January 18 Sent: Wed, January 13, 2010 10:25:27 AM Subject: location changed The meeting on January 18 th will be at the Watkinsville First United Methodist Church 1331 New High Shoals Road at 7pm.  We will be in the Sunday School room at the end of the front wing of the church so park in the front parking lot.  Please be thinking of other possible locations that we can meet and bring your ideas to the meeting or e-mail me with suggestions. Can you help with costs of signs for Historical Society?

This just came in from Peg Sommer and the folks at the Oconee County Historical Society attempting to purchase some tasteful signs showing what we have here in Oconee County to display to students of historical structures.
