Trey Downs Posts, Then Removes, County Credit Card Numbers in political ploy gone awry

Hey Wendell Dawson and Tony Townley and the rest of the contributors to the campaign of Trey Downs, would you like your credit card numbers posted on line for the rest of us to see and abuse? I don't think so. I hope this opens the eyes and minds of some of the last few undecided voters in Oconee County as to why Mr. Downs needs a little more seasoning and experience before he becomes Sheriff in this Oconee County. This act of negligence would border on criminal if it were not in the realm of political free speech. This is what we like to call a game changer. Use a little common sense Oconee Sheriff's Candidate Posts, Then Removes, County Credit Card Numbers

4-8-12 Oconee part of two State House Districts – Minority in both

Former Oconee County Chair and self professed country lawyer Wendell Dawson almost sounds like a Democrat (well he was for the better part of four decades) on this one about our divided Oconee County representation with Representative McKillip and his primary opponent Regina Quick as well as Chuck Williams (who has no opposition yet but surely deserves some at the very least). 4-8-12 Oconee part of two State House Districts – Minority in both

Oconee reorganization vote tonight | News | OnlineAthens.com

Despite the well-engineered G. Melvin Davis-led Public Relations campaign seemingly spearheaded by both the Oconee Enterprise and Beyond the Trestle 's Johnathan McGinty in a column in the Athens Banner-Herald (with whom I have no personal beef) against it, I am in full support of the proposed reorganization of the Oconee County government. Thank you very much to all the members of the Oconee County Board of Commissioners and please continue on your mandate. Just to reiterate, I have no enmity with either McGinty, Davis, or anyone working for any newspaper, radio station or local media. I appreciate people having the nerve to stick their necks out with opinions and commentary, but one has to expect people to disagree with them with the more they express those opinions on the topic du jour. This governmental restructuring process has seemed to strike a very raw nerve in the community and beyond. I think Chairman Davis is a good person who has done a decent job of running the county ...

Ryan House INCOMPLETE response: Incorrect Facts

The following is a conversation of emails between Board of Education candidate Ryan House and former Board of Commissioners chair Wendell Dawson. I am not one to besmirched Mr. House with the development tag, Mr. House asked for me to print this, so hey, here it is, make up your own mind: Dan, I have included the email that Wendall Dawson and myself exchanged today. The facts are not accurately represented and are not true in the slighest way regarding the statement that "AVOC has researched the candidacies and lists persons AVOC believes to be the least influenced by the Development Community and current "Power Clique"." I am shocked to know that anyone would tie me to the development community. As you will see in my orignial email, I have not accepted or received any campaign contributions from any development community. As the campaign contribu...
