A bill that will limit women's access to safe and legal abortions was all but dead in the Georgia State Senate but it was revived today and tacked on to an unrelated bill that passed out of the chamber. House Bill (HB) 246, relating to employee benefits for workers at the Georgia World Congress Center, was amended to include Senate Bill (SB) 164, which bans abortion coverage in state employees benefit plans.
