Rick Crawford removed as the Democratic nominee for House District 16. Mr. Crawford, a Democrat, has told Democratic leadership that he intends to switch to a Republican after the election.  This is short notice and we understand that many of you are unable to attend due to the short notice and distance, but you are invited to be a cherished member/participant of this press event. So Benedict Arnold wants to dictate when and how Clarke County residents determine their voting districts? I think there could be a whiplash effect of opening up a can of whoop-ass on this proposal. Doug McKillip switches the location of his fundraiser

In a move following suit with his recent party change, State Rep. Doug McKillip is switching the city and location of his fundraiser to Six Feet Seafood Restaurant at 685 11th Street, Atlanta, GA 30318. This was from the infamous letter sent out a week before he decided to abandon the Democratic Party and join the majority. I believe that earlier invitation was for his law office on Milledge Avenue in Athens. My only hope is McKillip can stop a constitutional majority from passing some really ridiculous legislation. And we have the only Pro-Choice Republican south of New York City.
