Dear Friends, I can think of a number of reasons why citizens of the 113th House District should attend the candidate forum from 7-9 p.m. tomorrow night in the auditorium of the Oconee County Library on Experiment Station Road in Watkinsville. Here are a few: 1. This is a chance to see all four candidates and listen to each respond to the questions posed by citizens. If you haven't made up your mind about a candidate to support, this should help. 2. Regardless of who wins, the candidates need to know about the concerns of citizens. This is a chance for you to help them do that. 3. A strong democracy requires an active citizenry. You can help demonstrate the vitality of democracy in Oconee and the surrounding counties by attending. 4.
