For my running friends: Scarecrow 5K Announces Totally Running as Presenting Sponsor -New Running Store Will Offer Pre-Race Discounts to Registrants- -Runners and Walkers Welcome at October 16 Race- WATKINSVILLE, Ga., October 8 – The Scarecrow 5K, Oconee County’s oldest road race, is pleased to announce that specialty running store Totally Running will be the presenting sponsor for the race this year. Totally Running opened its local store in August between the Kroger and Home Depot off of Epps Bridge Parkway. It is the first multi-brand specialty running store in Oconee County and greater Athens, and offers a diverse selection of running shoes, apparel and accessories, as well as custom gait analysis and a knowledgeable staff that help runners make shoe choices that improve their stride and reduce chances of injury.
