"She shouldn't have brought up (Margaret's) sickness," said this political junkie last night. "She should have never mentioned that. It really rubbed a lot people the wrong way." Former University of Georgia fundraiser Hank Huckaby managed to escape a run-off with 51% of the vote in an expensive race in the 113th House of Representatives district G.O.P nomination. Huckaby defeated Tommy Malcom with 30% of the vote and tea party favorite Kirk Shook with 19%. Huckaby will run against Democratic candidate Suzy Compere for the seat in November.
