State Rep. Chuck Williams checking out election returns with Nancy Denson

Image
This is a great photo, capturing the momentary uncertainty of watching the incoming election results. State Rep. Chuck Williams of Oconee County, center, and Athens mayor Nancy Denson are at the backroom at Buffalo's Restaurant in Alps Shopping Center a couple of Tuesday nights ago. I believe that is Congressional candidate Ken Dious in the background. I would wager that Blake Aued took this photo for Flagpole magazine. Looks like Chuck chose Donna Sheldon in the 10th District and have not heard of any endorsement in the Run Off. Athens Power Rankings for the Week of May 26
