From: "Ann Stoneburner  Subject: [oconeedemocrats] Democratic Caucus @ Oconee Watkinsville Library on Saturday 11 am until noon We hope that all of you have seen the legal notice that has been running in the Oconee Enterprise since mid-October: Local Democratic Caucus: The Democratic Committee of Oconee County will hold a public caucus to elect new Committee members for 2015 - 2017.  The caucus will be held from 11 am - 12 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the Oconee County Library, 1080 Experiment Station Road, Watkinsville.  All interested parties are encouraged to attend.  If you are interested in serving as a Committee member for 2015 - 2017, but are unable to attend the caucus, please throw your "hat into the ring," by responding to this email.

Few photos of this weekend's OCAF Wine Fest frivolity at Ashford Manor in Watkinsville

 The weather was absolutely perfect for the 2014 Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation Fall Wine Fest fundraiser at Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast with dozens of restaurants from Watkinsville and Athens participating in the event. My favorite dish was the pulled pork Gouda mac and cheese from Chops and Hops or perhaps the two authentic crepe makers showing how the work was done. Chef Jose Zambrano and his staff including Bela Steward at Girasoles did a fine job as well. If anything there was so much amazing food that you had to pick and choose about halfway through it.  The 2014 OCAF Wine Fest was an outstanding event with an auction and food from many of the area's finest restaurants and plenty of beer and wine to go around. With the special events permit as well as beer and wine pouring license proudly displayed, a gathering of a few hundred people dutifully lined up at 3:00 pm and had their licenses checked and auction cards filled out. Naturally I bid on a basket...
