Very sorry to hear of his death and I used to work in Roswell in the mid 1980s. Gone (with his passing) by in large is the old school BUSINESS Republican who understood that green is color that really makes the world go round. There are a few left here in Athens and Oconee County, but not many. Tim Bryant always conducted the same interview with him annually and it amounted to "Well, not much progress in getting the horse racing bill passed?" I swear if Republicans realized that the future economic growth in this state is indeed in ALL MATTERS equine, cannabis, medical and science, we could begin to actually see this state begin to recover.
