Subject: Saxby Thinks You Don't Get It
 | Dear Daniel,
On a radio interview just the other day, Saxby Chambliss commented on the current economic crisis and said:
"This is a very, very serious situation, and I think it is much more serious than the average American understands."
All over the state, thousands of middle-class Georgians are struggling from paycheck to paycheck. You don't have to be a rocket scientist (or a United States Senator) to understand that Georgia has the second-highest job loss rate in the country, or to see that folks are losing their homes to foreclosure.
Saxby thinks we don't get it, but we understand all too well the perilous state of our economy. Fortunately, so does Jim Martin. That's why Jim has been traveling all over the state, talking to voters, and answering their questions. And the voters have responded.
As you know, in the last few weeks, this race has tightened dramatically. Numerous polls show Jim tied with Saxby. But a tie is not good enough. To send Saxby home, we need a win. We need your help today.
We've got Saxby running scared. GOP State Party Chair Sue Everhart has told the Republican faithful that Saxby is in for "the fight of his life." And when a candidate like Saxby is backed into a corner, that's when the smears and sleaze go into overdrive. With the special interests behind him, Saxby is flooding the airwaves with negative, malicious commercials attacking Jim Martin's character. With your help, we can fight the smears.
Help us end the lack of leadership from Saxby Chambliss. By clicking here, you'll give us the resources we need to show Saxby the door. You can make a contribution to fight Saxby's lies about Jim Martin and restore honor and dignity back to the United States Senate.
Thanks for your support!
