Brian Kemp appointed Georgia secretary of state || OnlineAthens.com

Boom! just like that, Sonny fulfills one of my predictions from late 2009 when Karen Handel was first rumored to be exiting the Secretary of State's office. Now the Athens area developer can have a little on the job training for a very demanding j0b and win the Primary as an incumbent.

A deep wound waiting to be healed - restoring order and dignity in the city cemetery

Image
The Watkinsville City Cemetery is an oasis amidst the houses on the east side of the municipality, near the neighborhood once called Sidney. We won a state championship in football at OCHS when I was there because we made are kids bigger faster and stronger. OC is not our enemy nor is it who or what we are preparing our athletes for. My decision is about unity. My decision is about stepping up to play the Stephens Counties and the Hart coun...
