Log House

The Oconee County Historical Society invites you to join us on Monday, April 18 at 7:00 PM at OCAF for a showing of  Bill Evelyn's documentary, The Georgia Log Cabin.

Torn down, left to rot in a forgotten woodlot, or hidden beneath existing structures, Georgia's historic log houses have all but disappeared from our landscape. Mr. Evelyn brings 30+ years of video experience and producing to explore what has happened to these once commonplace structures on farms throughout our state.

Following this half hour program will be an informal discussion about log cabins in today's Georgia.
