Subject: [oconee] Oconee Democrats' book for June

Hello!

This month the book group sponsored by the Oconee Democrats will discuss
"Death of a Salesman" -- on Wednesday, June 27th.

I read that the playwright, Arthur Miller, chose Willy Loman's name to
evoke the idea of the low man on the totem pole. It's been interesting
to revisit this classic play, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and
a Tony Award for Best Play.

The group meets at Piccolo's restaurant in the Bell's shopping center in
Watkinsville at 7 PM the last Wednesday of each month. Some of us arrive
at about 6:30 to order dinner or drinks.

I've met some of the most interesting people in the area because of our
common love of books. New people join us all the time, so don't be shy
about dropping in any time!

Sincerely,

Pat Priest
