August 8th Newsletter View this email in your browser The Pastures of Rose Creek      Hope everyone had a great week and stayed cool during these record high temperatures!      Students are back in the local school systems and the University of Georgia starting back soon. This time of year, the Athens area seems to completely transfer from an almost sleepy town to busy metropolis with horrible traffic and even worse drivers in a matter of only weeks!      With all of the students back in town, we expect the weekend Farmers Markets to be busier than ever. Be sure to come out early to get all your fresh produce and meat from your local farmers! Where to find us... Athens Farmer's Market - Come see us at Bishop Park from 8am to 12pm. We will have our wonderful Piedmontese grass-fed beef fresh as well as our free-range eggs for sale!  Oconee Farmers Market -  Find us in Downtown Watkinsville by the Court House from 8am to 1pm. Our Piedmontese grass-fed beef and free-range eggs will be for sale! Also, we'll have cucumbers and peppers! Wednesday Athens Farmers Market - We'll be at the parking lot next to Creature Comforts Brewing Company, 271 W Handcock Avenue, from 4pm - 7pm! We'll have eggs and grass-fed beef! Sunday Farm Stand - Come by the farm stand 2pm to 4pm on Sundays and get some fresh produce and beef! We are at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville! Be on the look out for the signs on Colham Ferry Road!   Sunday Gold Club        This weeks Gold Club offer is free green tomatoes with the purchase of ground beef! Try throwing some green tomatoes on the grill to add to your dinner! Also, remember that our hatch green chili's go great on burgers!      For the new subscribers - Our Gold Club is a Sunday Farm Stand discount that we offer to our Newsletter subscribers! Our farm stand is located at 1051 Rose Creek Drive, Watkinsville, GA and will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday. Look for the signs on Colham Ferry!
