Three weeks from today is the DAY AFTER the election.  What will you say that morning when you read the paper or watch the news?
 
1.  I can't believe Bobby came that close.  If only I had done more.
 
2.  Wow, Bobby put up a great fight.  He could have won if I had helped (more).
 
3.  On no, we're stuck with Mr. Broun for another two years.
 
Do you want more of the same partisan extremist agenda?  Do you want Veterans, Teachers, Children, Farmers and the Elderly to continue to be neglected?  Do you want bipartisan representation for everyone in this district?
 
You can make a difference today.
 
We are very close to a victory.  A recent poll shows Congressman Brouns' lead is shrinking every day.  And nearly 25% of the voters are UNDECIDED. 
 
We need to reach those voters in the next three weeks.  Help us today with a donation and we'll be able to run Newspaper and Radio advertisements to push Bobby over the top.

Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. Any one who has listened to 960 the Ref AM sports talk radio or heard the UGA Lady Dawgs or men's baseball team has surely heard the encyclopedic knowledge of one Jeff Dantzler. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
