Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2011 10:55:15 -0700 From: ilovehighshoals@yahoo.com Subject: TONHS June 20 Budget Hearing and Voting Reminders from Fred To: ilovehighshoals@yahoo.com Dear Fellow High Shoalers,                                                                                          June 15, 2011 This coming Monday is the 2nd budget hearing for next year's budget.  I attended last month and can attest that the council wants and needs your feedback about budget decisions.  The hearing starts at 7pm and will be followed by their regular meeting. Also, voting is going on right now for our state representative.  Remember to vote. Thanks for your support of North High Shoals; I'll see you at the next meeting.                                                                       Peace, Fred Johnson

Athens GOP Forum went well

Went to the Country Inn and Suites this evening at the behest of the Athens GOP forum for the House 113th Special Election, and it was quite the event. Maybe two dozen people were there.  At least one candidate in Alan Alexander did not attend but he did send his surrogate, who left quickly. There was an audience member named Brandon who kept asking me afterward about why I was a Democrat since a significant amount of time I spent spouting out what we both considered to be small l libertarian views on certain issues.
