We'll be reading Voltaire's classic, "Candide" - and we've moved our meeting date to Wednesdays. Thank you! The book is available for just $3.75 at Books Galore in Watkinsville. The group chooses first-rate and affordable books about history, politics, and the natural world.  While Candide was first published in 1759, Voltaire's satire still resonates today.  The full title (though versions differ) is "Candide: Or, the Optimist."  Some scholars have pointed out that President Reagan evinced an optimism quite similar to that of one of the cent...
