Nonfiction writing group in Watkinsville seeks new members

Pat and Liz I know though personal and professional circles, and think they both have great stories to share. I know they are both brilliant leaders in an innocuous manner. They are well worthy of blogs and books and plays and journals. I hope I can make their meetings sometime soon. I know the truth is stranger than fiction here in Oconee County. Pat Adams is the Assistant Chair of the Oconee County Democratic Committee, among many other things. She has tact, discipline, and the drive necessary to be able to get done almost any reasonable goal or accomplishment. Liz Buddenhagen once brought me brownies at work, so far the first and only person to have attempted that task, and for that I am eternally grateful. She was coming to where I work in an attempt to establish her credentials as a legal resource for the local attorneys at the time, I believe. Just to let you know, the DPG is looking into hotel rooms near Newnan for Friday and Saturday night of the August 31 weekend. Apparently they are having problems since it is the Labor Day weekend.  But I have been assured that they are working on it and will send out info as soon as they have it. Meanwhile, there are a bunch of hotels about three miles east of Newnan at Interstate 85, exit 47 (Bullsboro Dr.), like La Quinta, Hampton Inn, Ramada, Comfort Inn, etc., if you want to find one yourself.  Patsy I am a Democrat . The Pastures of Rose Creek: This Week's Harvest

Food from our ground available for purchase locally Sincerely,  Dan Matthews Date: Mon, 19 Aug 2013 21:54:24 -0400 Subject: The Pastures of Rose Creek: This Week's Harvest From: pastures1051@gmail.com To: Hello all!  Hope this week finds everyone well - at least better than our poor summer garden - which has not really enjoyed the sudden, sunless cold and excessive rains. But hey! - we have not thrown in the "trowel!" - fall seeds are in the ground and young onions and cabbages are sprouting their oh so sweet first little leaves.  We whisper and coo in their green little ears, coaxing the next round of delicious veggies into fruition. So, although most of our summer crops have decided to pack up shop, and take their vacation early in search for some fabled summer sun -  our market table is not veggie "lite" for long.  The next round of amazing greens and things are on their way!  ...and speaking of "lite"...
