An incredible project with Michelle Nunn in Atlanta

Image
Join Michelle Nunn in Atlanta tomorrow if you can Sincerely,  Dan Matthews Date: Fri, 9 May 2014 16:06:49 +0000 From: info@michellenunn.com To: danmatt@hotmail.com Subject: An incredible project --> And you can be a big part of it, Dan! Dear Dan, In my 25 years of service, I have seen the incredible things Georgians can achieve when they roll up their sleeves and tackle community challenges together. Building houses and playgrounds and setting up free cafes to deliver meals after natural disasters – these are all things I've seen volunteers achieve in the course of a few days.  That's a focus on results and a commitment to service that Washington could learn from – and there's a way you can help me share that message. On Saturday, May 17, our campaign is holding a Day of Service all across Georgia. It's going to be a truly incredible day – and I would love for ...

Oconee County Civitan Club Fund Raiser - BBQ

This from Mary Mellein and the fine folks of the Oconee County Civitan Club: Subject: Oconee County Civitan Club Fund Raiser - BBQ Hi everyone, As you may or may not know, I am a member of the local Oconee County Civitan Club .  Our purpose is to assist people in need in the local community with a strong focus on those who are disabled in some way.  A current project, for example, is the building of an access ramp for an individual who lives in Watkinsville and will soon be wheel chair bound due to a progressive illness. Oconee Veterans Memorial BBQ

The following was written by Kate McDaniel, and I certainly support our Veterans as well: The Oconee Veterans Memorial Foundation is coordinating a fundraising B-B-Q for the memorial to be built and erected at the entrance of the Oconee Community Complex and for the Reeves Family. Two (2) fliers are attached with the specifics. Since veterans are both Democrats, Republicans and Independents, it is fitting for all to pay tribute to our Oconee Veterans. Would you send this out to all of your members or if you prefer, I will be glad to do it if you are busy with other things and if you will supply me with the e-mail list. I have a few of your members on my list but certainly not all. The B-B-Q (being prepared by Tom Little and his staff) is donation only and all proceeds will go to the Reeves Family and the Memorial Foundation for building the memorial. Please help Mr Little by getting the word out this weekend or early next week. The date is Memorial Day, Nov 11 on Sunday from 11 am t...
