Oconee Chamber to host political debate for Statehouse District 113 June 23, 2011 Contacts: Chamber Board Chairman, Mike McCleary ( mjm@fbglaw.com )  Chamber President J. R. Whitfield ( jrwhitfield@occoc.org ) The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a political debate Thursday, June 30th at the Oconee Civic Center Theatre. The evening’s event gets underway at 6:30 p.m. with a half-hour-long, meet-and-greet session with the candidates.  The live radio broadcast will be a debate which begins at 7:00 pm lasts until 8:00 pm. Tim Bryant will moderate the forum.  He is news director for Cox Broadcasting’s Newstalk 1340 WGAU, 106.1 WNGC and FM Newstalk 103.7 WXKT in Athens.
