Date: April 3, 2015 at 1:13:33 PM EDT Subject: [oconee] Hens, hawks, and hummingbirds (& more) Reply-To: oconee@yahoogroups.com Hello! We're reading a fun book this month for the Oconee County Democrats' book group: "Birdology: Adventures with Hip Hop Parrots, Cantankerous Cassowaries, Crabby Crows, Peripatetic Pigeons, Hens, Hawks, and Hummingbirds."   Booklist   described the book as "evocative, enlightening, and uplifting." Sy Montgomery is a naturalist and best-selling author characterized by   The Boston Globe   as "part Indiana Jones and part Emily Dickinson." The books are available at Avid Bookshop on Prince Avenue in Athens. Join us on Wednesday, April 29th, at 7 to discuss this interesting book with interesting people! We meet upstairs at Chops and Hops in Watkinsville. Come around 6:30 to order dinner and chat.
