Bob Smith bought off with trip to Trinidad and Tobago to get gas bill on fast track

I know of no reason why going to Trinidad and Tobago would be necessary to learn why a bill putting $300 million in the pockets of the natural gas industry is vital. Smith is in the pocket of industry and does not think about the best interests of his constituents.

Denise Majette announces for State School Superintendent

Ralph Reed rides in Sheriff car to parade in Savannah

Some how I can't imagine too many people in Savannah's fabled St. Patrick's Day celebration would be too interested in the rhetoric of this self-righteous hypocritical windbag, but I suppose there are gamblers in every crowd. Ralph should know. I just don't think the taypayers of Chatham County should have to pay to move this shysters around on their busiest day of the year.

Don't drive fast through Watkinsville

Police Chief Lee O'Dillon does a damn fine job of keeping the streets safe in the county seat of Oconee County, Georgia with little or no help from the Sheriff's Department.

Clark, Richardson, Romney rabble rouse in the Granite State

Never too early to start handicapping the 2008 Presidential race. I would say Hillary is 3-to-2, Clark and Edwards 6-to-1, Vilsack, Rendell and Warner 7-to-1, Biden and Bayh 10-to-1, Richardson 12-to-1 Feingold 15-to-1, Gore 30-to-1, Kerry 30-to-1 for the Democratic nomination. I could not imagine Romney (12-to-1) being the Republican standard bearer if Guiliani or McCain (6-to-1) wants it, but none of those folks are going to light a fire under any Southern Republicans' ass. Frist comes off easy at 10-to-1. I would give Condi at 9-to-1 shot at it.

Instant karma's going to get you

Some Republicans are still flogging a dead horse with Jane Fonda resolution by ex-news person Steen Miles, and it will come back to slap them in the face.
