So the comments have continued to trickle in about the various posts I have written about the suicide of a 14 year old Oconee County High School youth in the past week. One person even went so far as to threaten me with be "criminally liable" in his poorly written tirade. I decided not to lend credence to their cause by publishing their comments. The entire community is very sad about the death of this young person, I think we can agree with that. But does not threatening me perpetuate this vicious cycle? What good will come by removing the supposedly offending posts? Will it make the process of healing speed up for the parents? Will it give some degree of satisfaction to those who seem to be a little too offended? So here it my compromise: I will change the post to strike through which is like this  if I get a majority of comments in favor of doing so by the end of the Memorial Day weekend. It seems apologies and further posts have not been enough to assuage the anger of som
