Richard Richardson, local War of 1812 veteran, feted at Watkinsville Cementary and Eagle Tavern Sunday

On August 19 The Daughters of 1812 are planning to honor Richard Richardson, a local War of 1812 vet. There will be a ceremony at the Watkinsville Cemetery at 4:00 followed by a reception at the Eagle Tavern. Mary Ruth Moore is a descendant of Richard Richardson. She will be giving a presentation about him at the cemetery. Peggy
