Maybe you missed the big news?

Yesterday, our Democratic candidate Dan Matthews went against three Republicans in a special election for a state house seat. This district is dominated by GOP voters that went for Nathan Deal overwhelmingly just a few months ago.

Dan Matthews came in second
, forcing a run-off in an election that should have been an sure win for Republicans.

This is what it feels like when the pendulum starts to swing our way.
Easy Republican wins are not a sure thing anymore in these ruby-red areas of our state.

We're in the business to win elections, and Georgia Democrats are creating a new way
forward to be competitive in every corner of our state. Soon we will reap the rewards of our tireless work behind the scenes.

Congratulations to Dan Matthews on his stunning election.
However, there is more work to do. Reply to this email if you can help his effort. The run-off election is July 19.

When we finally start pulling together,
we will win.

Sincerely,

Mike Berlon, Chairman
Democratic Party of Georgia
