WSBTV.com - News - Mother Angry About Condition Of Her Soldier Son's Body

I think Henry County is in many ways a glimpse of what Oconee County has to face in the years forthcoming. This woman is not protesting the war as much as raising Hell about the awful way our government ships our bodies back to the grieving families for burial. A deep wound waiting to be healed - restoring order and dignity in the city cemetery

The Watkinsville City Cemetery is an oasis amidst the houses on the east side of the municipality, near the neighborhood once called Sidney. I have been associated with numerous GHSA state championships and our athletes are top shelf. We won a state championship in football at OCHS when I was there because we made are kids bigger faster and stronger. OC is not our enemy nor is it who or what we are preparing our athletes for. My decision is about unity. My decision is about stepping up to play the Stephens Counties and the Hart coun...
