Bobby Saxon press release about Dr. Paul Broun not caring about America's children and heallth care
The following is a paid political announcement. I donated $12.73 to the Saxon campaign a couple hours late for last quarter's donation reporting.
Wanna know why the 2.73 end to the donation? Here is another tidbit from an email plea I did not receive but had forwarded from friends is Morgan County.
All I ask is that, whatever you contribute, you add an extra $2.73 to it, to represent the 273,000 Georgia children that my opponent wants to leave behind. If you are able to, please contribute on my website by Sunday to beat the fundraising deadline for this quarter.
Have a great day,
Bobby

What can Broun do for you?
Not much if you’re a Georgia child in need of healthcare
ATHENS, Ga. – Democratic Congressional candidate Bobby Saxon released the following statement on last night's vote in the House of Representatives to re-authorize the State Children's Health Insurance Program (S-CHIP). S-CHIP is the parent program for Georgia's successful PeachCare program, which provides affordable health insurance to hundreds of thousands of Georgia children.
“I'm deeply disappointed that Congressman Broun chose to put party above principle with his vote last night. I'm not a doctor like my opponent is, but I do know the Hippocratic Oath, and its charge to protect patients from harm.
“With his vote against children's health care, Congressman Broun has broken that promise and, if he had his way, hundreds of thousands of Georgia children, and their families, would be harmed.
“I'm going to fight to keep America’s promise to our children, because this is about more than just a healthcare bill. Healthy children do better in school, they learn more, and they succeed. That's in the best interest of America's future as well as our workforce and economy. When I am elected to Congress, I will always put the interests of our families and children first.”
Bobby Saxon is an Iraq war veteran and small business owner and he has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and commanded a unit on a Homeland Security mission. Saxon also serves as Chair of the Jackson County Democratic Party and is a member of the Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee.
