Hi Everyone,

We did get a bunch of items in yesterday and the porch is covered, but we need more.

If you have any heavy or large items, let me know. I will see if any of the people
with trucks could help you.
I know Sarajane has some furniture she needs picked up. Please let me know if any
would be willing to help her.

We need tables. Becky had got some countertops we can use but someone needs to get them.
We would need sawhorses to put them on. I know Diana has some, but we would need another pair.

Tables are slim at the moment, and we desperately need more.

Volunteers are needed to work setting up on Friday and helping on Saturday.

Remember this is not for Rita, this is for the group.

Jeff Dantzler's arrests may be the best thing that ever happened to him

THis has next to nothing to do with Oconee County with the possible exception of the location of his former office, but a former colleague of mine on the radio got popped today for four counts. Any one who has listened to 960 the Ref AM sports talk radio or heard the UGA Lady Dawgs or men's baseball team has surely heard the encyclopedic knowledge of one Jeff Dantzler. James Whipple of Bogart bonded out on child porn, pot, and possession of a firearm during commission of crime charges

The booking photo is not to be placed on any web page that charges a fee for booking photo removal. Sheriff Scott Berry announces the arrest of Ian James Whipple (23) of Jefferson Avenue in Bogart on one count of Computer Pornography (child pornography), one count of Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Bond was set by the court at $50,000. Whipple has bonded out of jail. The arrest st ems from an investigation that began when the OCSO received information from the Athens Clarke County Police leading to the obtaining of a search warrant for Whipple's residence and computers. That warrant was executed on July 1st. Upon entering the residence, it was discovered that Whipple also was cultivating marijuana plants. Whipple was not at the residence at the time the warrant was executed. He was arrested on July 3rd when he was located by OCSO deputies.
