FW: [oconee] The Great Gatsby -- this week!

I have not read this F. Scott Fitzgerald classic, but I have been to Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Subject: [oconee] The Great Gatsby -- this week!

Join us if you can to discuss Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" this
Thursday for the Oconee County Democrats' book group that meets the
Third Thursday of every month. I'm sorry to be slow in getting word out
about the book; I've been out of town and busy (like everyone else)!

The Great Gatsby is a quick and interesting read. Copies are discounted
at Books Galore in Watkinsville if you'd like to pick one up.

We chose the book -- a classic! -- in part to discuss current-day
economic issues such as the super-wealthy and shady economic dealings.
Or was it the love story?

We'll meet at 6 at the Five Points Deli on Epps Bridge Parkway, with the
discussion getting underway around 6:15. Feel free to bring your own
cup or glass if you try to avoid styrofoam like I do! The staff is
certainly cool with that!

Even if you read the book way back in high school, join us!

Thanks!
