Lorraine wrote this adaptation of Sophocles' play, Antigone.
Some of the best theatre in the area…….and it only costs you a can of food.  ;-)

Athens Academy proudly presents "The Tragedy of Thebes".  This modern adaptation by Lorraine Thompson puts a new twist on a classic tale.  The play is adapted from the Greek tragedy, "Antigone", by Sophocles.  Show dates and times are Oct. 29-31 at 7:30PM.  All shows will be held in the Athens Academy Presentation Hall.  Canned food items will be accepted at the door for the Athens Area Food Bank.
