Former Oconee FB coach Jeff Arnette resurfaces at South Forsyth

The South Forsyth War Eagles, still an expansion high school of sorts compared to Forsyth Central and North Forsyth, is getting the considerable talents and services of former Oconee County High School football coach Jeff Arnette, according to the Forsyth County News online service. Arnette was an assitant on the State Championship team in 1999 and took over the head coaching reigns soon thereafter. He has most immediately been Defensive Coordinator for the Valdosta High School team.

The Watkinsville City Cemetery is an oasis amidst the houses on the east side of the municipality, near the neighborhood once called Sidney. There is a large section of the cemetery that remains a mystery, but perhaps we can work together to dignify the eternal resting spot somewhat better than the current neglected and forgotten (not to mention unmarked) graves of 70 people, more than likely of African-American descent. They deserve to be honored as well. An effort has been undertaken to repair the graves with fill dirt to stop the continued erosion amongst the graves. Osborne dug his own hole deeper with this comment swiped from the Athens Banner-Herald's comment section

There is no way of knowing with absolute certainty if this is indeed the comment swiped from the article of the Athens Banner-Herald newspaper yesterday of evidently now former North Oconee principal John Osborne or not, but home slice needs to learn from Bill Hamby and Rick Pitino as when to shut the fuck up: I have never in my life posted a to a blog, vent site or sent an editorial, but obviously there are lots of misperceptions out there.
