May 1st & 2nd, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Each Day

Southworks Market & Festival

Eighty of the region's top arts and craft persons will be selling their original works. The juried market will include pottery, paintings, fiber art, stained and fused glass, jewelry, sculpture, photography, and woodwork.

Southworks 09 entertainment
The festival will include live music featuring a variety of the best country, blues and jazz musicians of Northeast Georgia. Food vendors will be showcasing local and international specialties, and also included will be Kidsworks, a children's activity area.

A visually stunning collection of over 80 pieces of art representing a wide range of expression and disciplines. The artists range from established professionals to talented emerging artists and the art runs the gamut from painting, to sculpture, photography, ceramics and more!

Judged and juried by Catherine Fox, Co-founder chief of visual arts coverage for www.ArtsCriticAtl.com, a blog about the fine arts in metro Atlanta and former art and architecture critic for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. 

Otto Lange CowboyDirectors Choice this year is Otto Lange, a contemporary realist painter living in Athens GA and represented by the Miller Gallery of Cincinnati Ohio.
