By The People Lobby Days Return

ACLU By The People Lobby Days Have MOVED!
Now Tuesdays at the Coverdell Legislative Office Building
Friends of the ACLU,

We wanted to let you know that we have moved our annual By The People Lobby Days to Tuesday mornings.  Building on six successful years of lobby days, the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia (ACLU of Georgia) will once again offer lobby training to individuals and other progressive groups during the legislative session.

When: Tuesdays from 9:00 AM-Noon (different from last year)
  Training 9:00-10:00, Lobbying 10:00-12:00
Where: Across from the Capital in the Coverdell Legislative Office Building (CLOB), Room 307.

Training will include:
  • How to talk to legislators
  • What are the "hot" issues and why you should care
  • How best to help pass or stop legislation
  • A walking tour of the Capitol's lobbying area and procedures
  • Assistance in meeting your senator and representative
Join us for an hour, a morning, or each week.
