REGINA QUICK IN THE NEWS
# 1
It's very exciting to be reporting that Regina Quick is receiving fantastic support from all over the district and, quite wonderfully, very bi-partisan support. BOTH Democrats and Republicans are behind Regina. In addition, support is coming from outside the district too. Seems people from "other parts too" really do want to be rid of McKillip in the State House. For more on the topic:

Many of you have asked about Regina's position on the (McKillip's) controversial abortion law.

MEDICAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR REGINA

MEDICAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR REGINA
In addition to strong, committed support from local Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Regina has received support from the Emory University medical community - especially Neonatal Specialist. Of course, as we all know, the McKillip "bill" - is now law. The posting below appeared before the bill became law. It's no wonder that the medical community is furious at McKillip's blatant disregard for medical evidence.
Keep in mind after you read this article that McKillip is now trying to portray Regina as "pro abortion" and himself as "anti-abortion". He's sounding desperate or hasn't read the article in Saturday's Banner Herald. This is perhaps part of his continued, concerted efforts to keep support ($$$$$$) from Georgia Right to Life folks. BUT...
did he not just get a 20-week abortion bill passed? Doesn't that make him "pro-abortion" (at 20 weeks)? How stupid does he think the voters are?

ETHICS PLEDGE
From Georgia Common Cause website:
ETHICS PLEDGE
Regina is one of only 43 legislators/candidates who has signed the ETHICS PLEDGE
limiting lobbyist gifts to $100.
Her Opponent, Doug McKillip, has NOT signed the Ethics Pledge
limiting lobbyist gifts to $100.
Her Opponent, Doug McKillip, has NOT signed the Ethics Pledge
From Georgia Common Cause website:
In the State Integrity Investigation Georgia was ranked the state with the greatest potential for corruption. Perhaps this revelation helped our elected officials realize that our current ethics laws just aren't up to snuff with the rest of the country. Maybe they finally got tired being one of only three states with no limit on lobbyist gifts.
Yet, Doug McKillip still chooses NOT to sign the pledge limiting lobbyist gifts.
AND BTW :
Regina has taken NO lobbyist, PAC or Special Interest money
in her campaign.
However, we would welcome and could certainly use a financial contribution from you.
