Fall Greetings All-
Please join us this Saturday for another great day at the Oconee Farmers Market in Historic Downtown Watkinsville. This Saturday is the 39th Annual Oconee Chamber Fall Festival and OFM will have vendors and music all day. This week our vendors will have Organic Silver Queen Corn, peppers, beets, turnips, icicle radishes, mixed greens, arugula, tomatoes, okra, peas, eggplant, kale, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, onions, fresh, dried and dehydrated Shiitake mushrooms, local wildflower honey, sourwood honey, honey butter and pecan honey butter,  Asian pastries and teas, savory Dim Sums, empanadas, vegetable quiche, jams, jellies and preserves, breads, muffins, iced and plain loaf and mini poundcakes, pumpkin poundcake slices, boiled and fried peanuts, beef jerky, lemonade and more. The Pie Lady is also back this week with all your favorite flavors of whole and fried pies, decorated Halloween sugar cookies and whoopie pies. Our meat vendors will have lamb, chicken, a wide selection of pork products and 100% grass fed beef with eye of round roast samples! There will also be vegetarian dog and cat treats, birdhouses and squirrel feeders, cut flowers, ornamental trees and shrubs, bedding plants, dish gardens and hanging baskets, decorated gourds, jewelry and other items made from recycled and found objects. We will have watercolor prints and cards, mixed media jewelry including bracelets, earrings necklaces and pendants, scarves, crocheted items, bags, woolens, Shea butter and handmade essential oil soaps and scrubs, handcrafted lip balms and beeswax candles and I am sure more!!
Our music will be provided by The Red Oak Southern String Band (9-12) and Loius Phillip Pelot (12-3). As always COFFEE AND ICE WATER are FREE!
