If you want to get your hands in clay but your busy life makes it hard to attend a pre-scheduled course, "Clay Your Way" offers an exciting opportunity to have fun with clay when YOU have time. With your registration you can attend six guided class sessions. The first class starts with Studio Orientation on February 1st and is the only "required attendance" class. The remaining five classes you may attend at your convenience over 12 weeks, up until April 19th, receiving individualized instruction as you go. No previous experience is required.Dates: Saturdays February 1 through April 19, 2014

Don't miss your chance to learn and perfect your watercolor technique under the tutelage of Jane Paul Angelhart. Master portrait painter Jane will share with students a rare opportunity to learn professional secrets for letting colors and faces bloom from the page.
However, while the focus of her Workshop will be Portraits, the techniques she will be teaching will enhance your work no matter what your subject matter. To facilitate full understanding of the watercolor painting concepts discussed, students of all levels will benefit from Jane's calm comforting style, easy to follow instruction, and encouraging advice. If you've been afraid to really put the vibrancy of watercolors to the test in the portrait genre, this is the workshop for you.

Bagpipes with Dan Wilson 
Beginner and Intermediate (A and B) classes available. Beginner students start learning on a practice chanter. Intermediate A students continue to play on the chanter while they hone their skills. Our very own Gallery Director extraordinaire and long-time Lyndon House painting instructor, Charles Warnock, will be teaching an open studio format class in oils and acrylics. Charles will provide individual assistance and advice while Students work on subjects of their own choice. There will not be still life set-ups as subject matter. Not for Beginners.

In this unique series of one-day Saturday workshops Cameron offers instruction in a variety of mediums and techniques. In Drawing classes Cameron will teach the use of charcoal, graphite and ink. In Pastel classes she will teach how to capture light, creative ways to approach subject matter, and how to use pastels to fullest potential. In Mixed Media Sculpting Cameron will teach students how to use unusual materials to create unique sculptures.
