Dan,
This week we start a new year and begin the march to victory in 2014. Six months ago, no one would have given Georgia Democrats a chance.  But look where we are now.
We can win the US Senate seat, take back the Governor's office, put a Democrat in the Lt.  Governor's chair and rid ourselves of a reckless Insurance Commissioner whose callousness has garnered national attention more than a few times.
There are plenty of reasons for Democrats to be optimistic about 2014. But, there's a lot of work ahead of us and I can't do it alone. To succeed, we need to pull together.
As Chair, raising the resources needed has been one of my top priorities.
Before our filing deadline at the end of the year, I need you to make a contribution  - Large or small - to the DPG today and tomorrow. Your investment will be the cornerstone of building the momentum we need to win in November.

Georgia Democrats believe we should concentrate on those things that matter most:  access to affordable health care, clean air and water, an education system whose quality doesn't depend on geography or to whom you are born, and the ability for every Georgian to know the dignity of a well-paying job.
With enough hard work and the support of strong Democrats like you, we'll change Georgia's course next year.
Thanks,
DuBose Porter
Chair, Democratic Party of Georgia
