Forget politics. This is unbelievable. It is a sad day for every child in Oconee County (and elsewhere) who has visited Washington Farms.
Having covered a few animal control authority meetings, I know Catlyn Manor is not going to be real happy when she returns from being out of town.
I have some experience with Bull Mastiffs and generally they are a very patient breed, and a friend of my dad in Madison was the President of the Bull Mastiff society of America. I had taken care of them on occasion.
There is almost no excuse for letting the dog packs roam wild, even out in the relatively rural area near Moore's Ford Road. The owners should be publically identified and fined heavily and not allowed to own any more animals.
