Democratic rally in Warner Robbins

PRESS RELEASE FOR MULTI-COUNTY DEMOCRATIC RALLY
SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2006
10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
FOUNTAIN PARK ON KIMBERLY RD. IN WARNER ROBINS, GA

Russell Boston, 3rd Congressional Chair of the Democratic Party of Georgia, announces a Multi-County Middle Georgia Democratic Political Rally to be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Fountain Park on Kimberly Rd. in Warner Robins, GA. State and local candidates will be present to discuss issues of interest and present their platforms.

Among those planning to be present are: 3rd District Congressman, Jim Marshall; candidate for Governor, Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor; candidates for Lt. Governor, Greg Hecht and Jim Martin; candidates for Secretary of State, Gail Buckner, Daryl Hicks, Scott Holcomb, Angela Moore and Shyam Reddy; candidate for Insurance Commissioner, Guy Drexinger; candidate for State School Superintendent, Carlotta Harrell; Sec. of Labor, Michael Thurmond; Attorney General, Thurbert Baker; and Sec. of Agriculture, Tommy Irvin. Area candidates for the Legislature will also be in attendance. Among those will be Dee Yearty, candidate for State Senate, District 20, Scott Taylor, candidate for House District 146, Lauren Benedict, candidate for House District 140. Other middle Georgia legislators running for re-election will also be in attendance. Among those will be Sen. Robert Brown, Sen. George Hooks, Rep. Dubose Porter, Rep. Robert Ray, Rep. Johnny Floyd, Rep. Sistie Hudson, Rep. Lynmore James, Rep. David Lucas, Rep. Nikki Randall, and Rep. Jimmy Lord.

There will be free barbeque and free entertainment. Homemade desserts will also be available.
