Plea to get registered to vote from Jane Kidd

Dear Friend,

If you're like most Georgia Democrats, you're excited about Georgia's Presidential Primary coming up on February 5th. I want to ask you to help us get out the vote on that day, by reminding your friends, family, and coworkers about this important election and by making sure that everyone you know is registered to vote.

The deadline to register to vote in the February 5th Presidential Primary is next Monday, January 7th!

If you know someone who hasn't yet registered to vote, please encourage them to get in touch with their local Board of Elections, so they can help choose our next President. For more information on how to register to vote, or to download and print a voter registration application, visit the Georgia Secretary of State's website.

As you know, Georgia's primary date is shared with many other states. I want to challenge all of us to start 2008 off on the right foot by getting more Democrats out to the polls than ever before. I hope you'll help us do just that.
